I've been upcycling fabrics for years so here is a look back at what I was making ten years ago...
I've been busy making another shoulder bag from the Rosalie Quinlan bag pattern - Beauty of a Flower.....
It's taken me about three weeks on and off, I've recycled an old pair of jeans and denim jacket..... 
the lovely pale blue floral lining is some old bathroom curtains which was originally a duvet cover, so the fabric has been recycled twice!
This bag seems a bit more sturdy then the first one I made for myself, perhaps I should read the instructions, there is supposed to be wadding in the middle, oops! Anyway I think it looks okay without and this one is my favourite of all five bags I've made so far and I can't wait to use it! 
While I'm taking busy these photo's, Kitt has sneaked into our bedroom and is playing hide and seek in my bedside cabinet!
