Pre-loved, Pretty and Practical - jacket to bag

When making handmade items, I use pre-loved fabrics to create some of my handmade items, however this does not mean it is in anyway an inferior product but it means I am creating a unique one off item for you to buy, occasionally I make items using the latest on trend fashion fabrics but I prefer to make items which are not the same as everyone else.

I'm still de-cluttering and I was going to give this jacket to the charity shop ....

but I decided to see if I could recycle it into a bag and here is the finished bag...

I just love the bright sneakers cotton fabric for the front flap...

and I managed to re-use a pocket for the back of the bag and the grey lining is from a skirt....
